I love you Lord with my whole heart!! My desire for you overwhelms me. A love that none compare. Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. Over the years there have been many changes, many faces. The hurts were numerous. I believe the Lord has guided my soul through these most recent days.
It seems that it is much easier to follow mans logic and the flesh, than to place ideas along the realm of the supernatural. What is our existence here for? Is it for church programs, great jobs and nice houses? We can evaluate our purpose with the rational mind of man, yet for what do we attain? The spiritual realm was here before man and life as we know it was on this earth. Reality is that our existence primarily is to be girded up for battle by taking on the armor of God. Everything that occurs has spiritual relevance. Our fleshly mind is useless within the spirit realm of God. As a result, we need to be those sheep who hear the voice of their shepherd. One with a discerning heart to know how to take captive each thought that is of the flesh and of the enemy. We need to comprehend the power of God. He has readied our feet and our hands for service. We are not to be cowering in fear, but rather standing up with might through the power of the Holy Spirit. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Every sin we commit and do not confess before our Daddy, we incur a curse. Thank God that sin’s curse of the Old Testament can be relinquished because of the cursed tree and Jesus’ Bloodshed!! As a result, all those who lovingly come to Jesus should unload their bondage from sin and the sin of their forefathers. Iniquities, curses and bondage are real. We have the power and guidance to eradicate them in Jesus’ name. Satan and his demons lie in wait. Waiting for the moment we sin and open up the door or the gate to our soul. He is no gentleman and is willing to force himself in whenever possible.
Being on the offensive means that we must be ready— must not be lukewarm, must not avoid prayer— but pray without ceasing. Our knowledge of the Bible must grow. As God’s living word is exposed we shall grow. Our armor must be on at all times. There is no room for not being prepared! We have an individual responsibility before the Lord. We must renew our spirit. We must be ye transformed by the renewing of our mind, and die to our flesh, becoming alive in Christ. This will make us like-minded with Christ, putting off the old and bringing in the new. Neglecting our own responsibility can and will hinder the growth of our church(Ekklesia). God wants to pour out His spirit and anoint our church. If we harbor sin which is not acknowledged or is unforgiven, we are cursed. God’s anointing cannot come upon us. If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins. What a blessing. We must bind up not only the oppressing spirits, the generals of the enemy’s army. We must acknowledge the existence of the principalities and the rulers of this dark world. We must be as the Bereans and scrutinize the word of God. We must learn from the Spirit how to effectively combat the enemy. Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
I believe as we are led by the spirit, the fruits of the Spirit become obviously evident. God directs those in certain areas that are in need and God fills those needs. All of God’s people have a gift, a calling, it is of God. There are Godly people who know the voice of their master. As a result, positions will be filled within the church. If we are not still before our Lord Jesus, and knowing our Father, we may never discern the prodding of the Lord. We will then have vacancies in our God ordained ministries and growth will be hindered. This could set the stage for oppression, which in turn will hinder the anointing of God. Travelling down this road will lead to the collapse of our church. We become as a frog in the skillet of water, so gradual is the heat that you grow accustom to the sin and allow the sin to boil you to death. You don’t even realize it. Woe be unto us, let this not be our fate. Let us experience the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, let us walk in the paths of righteousness, let us unite together as one flesh to pray and fast. Let us unite together with cords of love to annihilate the enemy. We must claim the promises of God— Walk in His love—Report all victories in Jesus. Support one another in prayer and lift each other up with exhortations surrounded by love.
